for the cpu it's hard to tell what's normal. I notice my threads change a lot, but the overall percentage in the task manager rarely reaches 100% unless the system is loading cache. For GPUs and VRAM, they seem to stay at 100%, which is confusing. I also see random spikes reaching 100% occasionally—like when opening apps such as Google, Steam, or Spotify—I’d notice my mouse freezing or skipping.

I didn’t give it much thought at first, but it caught my attention now that I considered spikes. When I first learned about them, I ignored them because replacing my old 960 didn’t seem to fix the issue—my GPU’s age was the main suspect.

I expected something similar and was wondering if you noticed that the "cap" and related actions are usually unnecessary. It seems best to stick to default configurations and rely on VSync in-game, especially since the "blurbusters" feature isn't suitable for everyone. If I adjust my FPS as you suggest, I might experience stutters. In that case, using VSync during gameplay or fast sync in the NVIDIA control panel would be better. It's also worth noting this system is fine overall but could struggle with certain titles and 144fps—lowering graphics settings might help.

It seems unusual when this occurs only with software. It might point to driver problems or other issues, as games shouldn't trigger this. If you've already run DDU and installed fresh drivers, it's unclear. Running a background utility could also be the cause.

With multiple processors, each one operates independently. At full capacity, you’ll notice delays and crashes, so it’s important to keep track of every core in real time—not just the total processor usage.
