Experience unusual behavior when the system first powers on.
Hi. Recently, I attempted to increase my monitor’s speed from 60hz to 75hz using NVIDIA's Control Panel. It functioned correctly without major problems, except for minor color shifts. The following morning, when I powered on the PC, the loading screen froze. Turning it off and back didn’t resolve the issue; it kept showing the same content. After several restarts, the login screen appeared, but the problem persisted. It even triggered Windows to automatically run diagnostics because of repeated restarts. Eventually, I removed both the 75hz setting and its profile. The issue continues. I’m unsure if the problem lies with my computer or the monitor, but it clearly happened after applying the overclock. Please let me know if you can help—I’d appreciate it! If you share your specs, it would be useful. Thanks!
It seems the issue is more about the computer than the display. Simply disconnecting the power from the monitor for a short time should refresh it, without needing a PC restart. I haven’t noticed a display problem affecting the system before, though technically they can interact. The only certain solution would be testing the PC on another monitor or TV and the display on another device.
