Hello. You're experiencing occasional freezes on Valheim with brief full crashes and FPS drops. Your GPU stays high at 82% while CPU sits around 20%, using 12.5GB of your 16GB RAM. Despite testing in OpenGL and Vulkan, the issue persists. Your system specs include an i5-12600K, RTX 3060, and 16GB DDR4 3200 RAM. What might be behind this?

I'm checking the resolution and settings I'm using. Are there other games I play, and do they run in those settings too? You might want to test with benchmarks like FurMark to see if VRAM is getting full or not refreshing. Try playing one stick at a time and switch slots to rule it out. Run memtest86 several times to check stability. Make sure your GPU and motherboard drivers are up to date, and what kind of power supply you're using?

I'm using 1080p and playing many other games without any issues. Valheim seems to run okay most of the time, though it still occasionally freezes like this. I've already done stress tests and everything was fine. My drivers are current. I'm running a Corsair TX750M.

Other suggestions are all helpful. If your setup allows a resizable bar (the 12th gen Intel is supported), make sure to turn it on. This will need: up-to-date drivers, the newest MMOE UEFI, and enabling the 3060 with a VBIOS that supports it. Watch a Rando YouTuber show you performance gains. Let us know what worked for you!
