Ensure XMP/DOCP is enabled in the BIOS, then adjust the profile accordingly—they typically offer XMP1 and XMP2. Switch to version 2 if you're on version 1. Use DDU to fully disable the GPU driver, restart your system, and reinstall the driver. Check if you upgraded from Intel to AMD while maintaining the same Windows version; in that case, a complete Windows reinstall may be necessary. Test RAM by installing it one stick at a time and running the game to verify the problem. If none of these steps resolve it, back up your data and attempt a Windows reset to see if that resolves the issue.

Thanks for the guidance! It seems my PC freezes when I turn on XMP in BIOS, so I haven’t enabled any profiles. I didn’t switch from Intel; I had a Ryzen 5 3600 before. I’ll give the other tips a try.

It seems like a RAM problem if your PC won't boot at all with XMP settings. If it worked before, the CPU might be the cause. I had a faulty 5600X that would crash during game launches. After swapping it, the new RAM functioned properly. The person at Microcenter mentioned similar cases, so that could be the reason.
