Experience high temperatures reaching over 90°C during gaming sessions.
Your laptop is an Acer Predator Helios 300 (i5, 1050Ti, 16GB RAM) from India. The problem is overheating when running demanding games like Witcher 3 or COD, and even in lighter titles it gets hot. During idle it stays around 70°C, but gaming pushes it to over 90°C. After cleaning and dusting, temperatures improved slightly during idle, though not much while playing. Underclocking helped lower idle temps but not gaming performance. Adjusting power settings didn’t make a difference. The GPU stays cool, usually under 80°C even in games. Your clock speed is around 3.8–3.9 GHz and your base frequency is 2.3 GHz—this might be related to stability or thermal management. Consider checking cooling solutions or contacting support for warranty-related advice.
Make sure the cooler was put together correctly after reapplying thermal paste.
They operate to some extent, but only marginally reducing around 3 C max.
I haven’t tried it before, so I can’t really say. You might want to look at Amazon reviews.
