You're experiencing random stuttering on your GTX 1060 setup. Here are some observations: the issues seem to occur with specific games under certain configurations, and you've noted some settings that help stabilize performance. It might be worth checking your GPU drivers, ensuring they're up to date, and verifying that VSync is disabled. Also, try adjusting your game settings to match the recommended profiles for each title.

More RAM is probably the best option.

Alternatively, those games don't work well with just one stick of RAM. Try an 8GB stick and check if the issue gets resolved.

It appears your computer is handling additional tasks in the background during gameplay. Consider turning off anti-virus or other applications while you play.

The sole antivirus installed is Windows Defender. Also, I'm using a single 8GB RAM stick instead of two 4GB sticks.

The game now feels unstable, running at maximum performance without VSync and using FXAA for blur effects

This indicates you're using single-channel mode. Running them in dual-channel is better for memory usage. Also, could you gather some logs to help us with troubleshooting?

I focused on the least optimized titles. I’m experiencing stuttering on Bo3 as well, which feels unplayable. There’s some stutter on WW2 too. Rottr, especially in the second scene, is quite problematic when you reach the Russian compound and geothermal valley. Shadow of the Tomb Raider has been fixed. I’ve resolved most issues except Bo3 and Rottr, which I fixed by changing Win 10 to 1607. Try that first. Your setup is a Ryzen 2700x with 16GB Trident Z and Aorus GTX 1080.

This is a good point. I used to use a 3rd party anti virus software. I removed it and use windows defender only. Games are running much more smoother.

I followed the instructions and uploaded the findings here. In the second log, I noticed no frame rate drops but still felt frame drops in the game. I adjusted the settings to max for Assassin's Creed Origins, using AA low and off VSync at 60fps. I ran two tests with Call of Duty: World War II, which provided a clearer picture. Seeing the memory usage reach up to 5.8GB really surprised me—it’s quite high. The DxDiag.txt and HardwareMonitoring.hml files are ready for review.
