It warns about caution on the D drive, meaning you should reinstall Windows completely and remove the drive entirely. This could result in losing all data unless you have backups. Even backed-up files might already be damaged. Always double-check before restoring any current files to avoid repeating the same issues.

I agree with Mark Kaine's advice. If you opt for a new drive or system with the M.2 included, avoid connecting any existing drives to it. The files you have are just images and documents—no active programs. I’ve confirmed the pagefile resides on the C drive, which is your SSD. The IRQL stopcode is uncommon, and my concern is likely related to CPU issues, such as Chrome’s status access violation or out-of-memory errors, which are typical for older 14th-gen Intel chips.

I’m keen to perform a post-mortem on this build. One problem I’ve observed is that the PC functions normally when it boots, but stability drops once I start a game—playing for hours without issues, yet crashing immediately after exiting. Last night the system failed to boot for a while, displaying a PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA error between 1:20 and 1:30 during Windows loading. After a disk check, it booted again, but rebooting took a long time afterward.

I’m using a 15-year-old 320GB SATA HDD on the D drive and a WD SSD for media storage—no active applications. I’m curious if you’d suggest avoiding connecting the HDD and SSD to the new system, as this could risk corrupting the fresh Windows installation or cause instability with the new build. They’re just meant for storing files that aren’t in use.

If you decide to replace the components, I’d recommend not linking the old drives to the new SSD. This would help prevent potential damage during the installation. Honestly, this situation has turned from a minor inconvenience into a real frustration. I might wait until parts arrive before making any changes, or at least keep the GPU in place and upgrade later.

This might have caused your Windows installation to fail. You could try removing it, repairing it, or getting rid of the faulty drive. If that doesn't work, consider reinstalling Windows. Avoid using the defective drive and dispose of it properly.

If you have a dump file, I'd appreciate seeing it since this crash has particular flags for page file issues, which would strongly suggest the SSD is the cause. Are you the person on Discord I've been urging to switch from his HDD for two weeks due to WHEA errors? It seems rare to find 320GB HDDs these days.

It seems to be a leaked file from 3:18 AM. Not the Discord user you mentioned. The file is labeled as dumps2.rar.

The analysis focused more on memory handling rather than storage, though the other components suggested storage involvement. My inclination remains toward storage.

He’s definitely not the right one, but Mr TaskManager is right—don’t reinstall Windows. I’m confirming his advice by trying it myself; a 2017 version works perfectly. It’s better than a fresh installation.
