Keep them raised using a gun, then press the button that reveals the mini menu for questioning and other functions, and finally execute the command to drop them.

Usually it happens right where you press to show the options menu. Search online or watch a tutorial. I haven’t played MGSV in ages.

go quietly to the opponent then press and maintain the left click while holding it down, then press "Q" and type the matching digits typically 3,4,5
