Experience a crash while gaming.
Hello Everyone, The issue I'm dealing with is straightforward: after playing for a while, every game I run eventually crashes. More intense games take longer to crash, sometimes shutting down completely and ending up with the desktop open while the game remains active. After installing the latest AMD adrenaline update, I also encountered a "driver timeout" error (see attached photo). My GPU, Windows, and BIOS are all current.
PC specs: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Windows 11 Pro 22H2, 64-bit, Build 22621.1555, Radeon RX 6950 XT, 32 GB RAM DDR5.
Before the update, a friend checked his RAM and confirmed it was functioning properly. I have no other choice but to ask for assistance. Thanks ahead!
I understand but is the PC still running? This might point to a PSU problem. Consider resetting the CMOS.
psu: stay calm! The 850W 80+ Gold Modular was assembled in December, but I faced some problems along the way. Updating drivers seemed necessary. I encountered an Origin Windows installation error with a blue screen (error code 0x80070570), followed by memory warnings that disappeared after drivers were updated. Now it’s working fine with the new monitor (ASUS VG278Q) and the GPU is functioning properly.
