I'm trying to figure out why my screen stays black after updating the BIOS. I used the BIOS flashback method just like when I first set up the PC. Once the lights stopped blinking, I booted and everything lit up except the display through the graphics card. When I tried using the motherboard graphics, it worked normally and I pressed F1 to enter setup, but nothing happened. I cleared the CMOS and still had the issue. My motherboard is an ASUS TUF Gaming X670E Plus with Wi-Fi and a Ryzen 7950X. Please let me know if you can help.

The BIOS might be damaged, so I should reach out to support for assistance.

I could, I might attempt it if feasible.

Ensure the CPU cooler fan connects to the correct port and not the pump or chassis fan. Activate it during high workloads. If the issue continues, disable detection, ignore the warning, and attempt a Windows boot. Verify with a hardware monitor or GPU-Z that the fan speed is detected in Windows.

Tried a quick fix by unplugging your VR headset after updating the BIOS. Turns out the issue never existed after all—just a silly mistake! Lol
