Hey everyone, looking for advice on repairing my motherboard. I have the following configuration: Motherboard: MSI H97M-G43 GPU: MSI GTX 1660 Super Aero ITX OC CPU: Intel i5-4460 Power Supply: Raven 500W. My first GPU was MSI GTX 960 OC but it stopped working after a few years, so I replaced it with the one listed above. After installing the GTX 1660, my PC would restart or shut down during gameplay. I ran MeTest86+ and everything checked out with a perfect score and no errors. My PSU seems to be providing enough power and voltage, but it’s not working properly now. I tried updating the BIOS, but the current version (2.6 7924) on my board doesn’t match the latest one (2.B 7924) available on MSI, which includes improvements like better VGA support. After the update, my motherboard stopped booting completely, and I suspect it may have been damaged.
