Executing Virtual Box on Windows
Executing Virtual Box on Windows
I'm attempting to install OS X inside Virtual Box on my Windows 7 machine using an AMD FX8320 CPU. The .dmg file seems to fail, showing errors like -v. I've learned that you might need to modify the Virtual Box settings to simulate a different processor. Your system includes an AMD FX8320 GTX 960 G1 Gaming MSI 990FXA graphics card and a GD80V2 chipset. Help would be appreciated.
It's quite challenging to set up OS X on Virtualbox. The best approach would be to search for guidance online.
It's quite challenging to operate OSX inside a virtual machine outside Apple systems. Consider searching Google for guides on setting up an OSX VM. I once used VMWare a few years back, but after finishing it, I realized it wasn't worth the time. It was quicker and more reliable to purchase a Mac and run OSX directly alongside other operating systems as a VM.
Running OSX on an AMD CPU isn't very reliable. While there are resources available, using a virtual machine won't be straightforward. If you're serious about this, I suggest using VMWare—it performs much better than Virtual Box.
