Execute Windows 8.1 Pro with administrator privileges
Hey everyone, just updated my laptop from Windows 7 to 8.1 and I'm trying to set up a way to run all programs with admin rights automatically—no need to tweak each shortcut manually. Let me know if you can help!
If you're using an admin account, everyone should log in with admin privileges.
If your account is a local administrator, there’s no need to act. The pop-up about installing or modifying a program under UAC settings can be turned off by looking up UAC in the system and disabling notifications.
They weren't talking about UAC. Running CMD wasn't allowed automatically since powercfg.exe with off disabled triggered a privilege issue.
This instruction doesn't apply to you since the guide isn't designed for your current setup.
Additionally, the command "set-ItemProperty" isn't listed among recognized internal or external tools.
