If it's possible then I'd recommend Live For Speed, rFactor, iRacing, Assetto Corsa, RaceRoom Racing Experience (free), Project C.A.R.S., Race 07, DTM Experience, GTR 2. What's the multiplayer scene in Assetto Corsa currently? I haven't played recently. For arcade options I'd suggest The Crew, Grid1/2/Autosport (2 is the most arcade, 1 is mid-range, Autosport leans more sim), Dirt3 (1&2 no longer support multiplayer), Test Drive Unlimited 1/2 (requires a mod for third-party servers), Burnout Paradise, Trackmania (2 offers a nearly endless demo), Drift City (free), NFS World (free), WRC 4. Midways could include Grid Autosport, NFS Shift 2, Auto Club Revolution (free), Simraceway (free). Codemasters F1 Series. I don't have many other ideas at the moment.

It seems like you're suggesting it's an asynchronous online process.

I currently favor Grid 2 and Dirt 3. Those are my top choices, even though I haven't explored Grid Autosport yet. They're essentially the same game (Codemasters) but with rally and street variants. If you enjoy one, the other is likely a hit too. Both offer impressive visuals.

F1 2014 costs around ten pounds on G2A. Likely not significantly pricier than the previous year, making it a decent value if it's just a redesigned version.

When the release occurs, launch the project vehicles.
