Hey everyone! This Friday is my birthday and I'm treating myself to a CPU upgrade after waiting nearly four months. My setup looks like this: Intel Core i5-7600K, OC to 5.0GHz, MSI GTX 1080 Ti Armour OC with 16GB DDR4 (two 8GB sticks), MSI Z270 Krait gaming, Corsair H110i cooler, Corsair RM750i PSU, and Alienware AW3418dw. I'm running 3440X1440 at 120Hz. I'm considering two main paths: a Ryzen 7 3900X with an X570 board (likely Asus ROG CROSSHAIR VIII HERO AM4) or an Intel i9 10900K with an Asus ROG STRIX Z490-A for RAM. I'm thinking about Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 2x16GB DDR4 at 3200MHz CL16. Any advice on which option fits better? Or should I hold off until the Zen 3 release? Thanks!

Hold off on the 3900X/10900K purchase. Zen 3 is still months away, and spending now would be a waste.
