I'm beginning to set up dual booting between Windows and Mint. I'm curious about potential problems if I let Mint run the Windows installers for my games. For instance, with Hogwarts Legacy, it's Steam-verified but not a native Linux title, nor has it been adapted for Linux. If I play it on Mint, would I be using the Windows version through Proton? Should I just pull the Windows copy from my Windows drive onto Linux, or do I need a fresh download for Linux? Also, for other launchers like Heroic, I've seen mixed reports—some games work well while others don't. Could you confirm if GTA V and GTA Online are functional on Linux? And regarding GTA Online specifically, would playing it pose any risks of being blocked or banned?

Some games on NTFS storage fail to run on Linux unless you make significant adjustments, which isn't advised. GTA V functions properly on Linux, though I'm uncertain about its online features.

The only option I have is employing a third-party, shared drive with exFAT formatting. It may have some problems, but it should function adequately most of the time.
