I was experiencing 50-70 fps in a pirated version of GTA V (v1.41) at high settings before. After installing a genuine copy from Epic Store, my frame rate dropped to 40-50 fps with occasional drops even at normal levels. I suspected the pirated file might be faulty, so I re-downloaded it but the issue persisted. This problem occurred in both story mode and online, with GPU usage staying under 40% most of the time. Sometimes it spiked above 90% and then returned to normal when I moved away. I adjusted settings without much improvement. Setting MSAA to maximum didn’t boost FPS, and switching to 2K resolution increased GPU load without raising frame rate. RAM usage was around 5 GB at high settings, yet I still saw the same performance. Other games functioned properly. I’ve checked drivers, VSync, Maximum Performance mode, Windows updates, BIOS, and bios.
