Excessive SATA power connections detected! Assistance required.
I recently enhanced my PC, but the SATA power connections aren't sufficient for my fans. I need ideas to fix this issue. Components: Motherboard - Gigabyte B850 GAMING X WIFI6E PSU - ASUS ROG Strix 1200w Platinum 80 Case - Phanteks NV7 D-RGB CPU Cooler - Arctic Liquid Freezer III ARGB 360mm Current Case Fans - 3x Arctic Fans Case fans I plan to upgrade to. My current setup: The PSU provides 2 SATA power cables, each with 3 connectors, totaling 6 connectors. The case controller uses 2 SATA connections (Channel A and B), my three SSDs each have one connector, using 5/6 of the available slots. I have the default fans from the CPU cooler block on the motherboard, plus three Arctic fans connected separately to the motherboard slots. My goal: Keep CPU fans as they are. Remove the three Arctic fans and install eight LIAN LI SL-INF 120 fans (two sets of three). The challenge: The LIAN LI fans require a fan controller with 2 SATA connections. I’m already using most of my SATA power from the PSU.
