while using battery power, my laptop stays on idle with these configurations: 25 watt discharge rate (HWInfo). Settings include 60Hz, Power Saver mode, 20% brightness, and the GPU disabled. Based on reviews and similar users, an 80 Wh battery should last more than 10 hours at an 8 watt usage rate. Your specs are: Lenovo Legion Slim 5 16AHP9, AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS, 16GB RAM, RTX 4060, 512GB SSD, and a battery capacity of 82.550Wh (L22C4PC2).

It doesn’t appear too strange—you’re wondering about disabling the dGPU. Is it through the BIOS settings or via the Windows Device Manager?

Turning off the dGPU might raise energy usage. How did you handle it?
