Hello, your machine has been experiencing frequent crashes and temperature spikes. In the BIOS it reads 60-70 °C, while HWinfo64 shows 60-80 °C even when idle. Usually it stays around 40 °C, but during gameplay or heavy loads it jumps to +70 °C and crashes shortly after. You own a used PC with a 5950X CPU and an Enermax 360 mm AI-O cooler. Initially, you thought the pump might be faulty, but both BIOS and HWinfo confirm it's running at about 3500 RPM with no unusual noise. The radiator is only warm at the inlet, and the rest stays cool, which is unusual. Since you haven’t used it for over six months, consider checking the cooling system setup. It’s mounted in an O11D case with side and top panels removed. Would you like suggestions on possible fixes or advice from others?
Several Enermax coolers tend to get clogged easily. A fresh cooler should resolve the issue.
Definitely sounds like a cooler issue. A new cooler should do the trick If the tubes coming out of the pump itself are not heating up then the water is not flowing correctly, most likely a clogg from the coolant. MSI has had a lot of issues with their R series AIO's so don't get one of those.
I'm not currently connected to the system, so I can't verify the status. From what I remember, one of the tubes seems to be getting hotter, which aligns with the temperature I'm seeing in the radiator. It looks like it might be blocked near the inlet. This seems reasonable, especially if it's just an AiO replacement. I'm checking a H150i ELITE CAPELLIX XT.
It seems the PC wasn't used otherwise and this problem began. I'm pretty sure it's the cooler. The H150i ELITE CAPELLIX XT is a solid AIO.
