I recently purchased a 7900 XTX Red Devil and noticed too much coil whine. Today I got an Asus RX 7900 XTX TUF and it matched the same problem. My question is, did I just face bad luck twice in a row or is there another cause? For context, my Be Quiet Pure Power 11 FM 1000W 80+ Gold PSU has already been tried to help. I’ve adjusted settings like FPS limits, VSYNC, undervolting, and used Silent Mode on both cards.

Limit the frame rate to maintain stability. Additional insights on coil whine are covered in this video by Optimum Tech, likely offering similar fixes for AMD graphics cards.

Coil whine is typical for high-power GPUs, you might just need to live with it.

It's typical, though the 20% usage at 144 Hz is unusual.

It might be influenced by the ports on your modular power supply unit.

Avoid doing anything if the PC is working properly; you might just have to accept it.

It could be mere chance with the card you receive. Try using headphones or speakers to block out the noise

Unrealful idea. Those 7900 XTX cards definitely have coil whine, they should be mentioned.

The 7900 series indeed experiences significant coil whine, which is common in many contemporary cards because of their high clock speeds.
