Your laptop seems to be struggling with performance due to outdated drivers or software conflicts. Checking for the latest Intel drivers and updating your game settings might help. Also, ensure your system meets the minimum requirements for the game you're trying to play.

Check if VSYNC is active. If it is, attempt to disable it. Your system uses Intel® UHD Graphics 620, which may limit performance, and you're experiencing about 2 frames per second.

The laptop runs on the specified model. It includes a dedicated graphics processor. The performance remains consistently at 2 FPS without any noticeable stuttering.

It's a very basic setup for gaming. If it only has built-in graphics, it won't perform well with titles like CS:GO. What level are you running it at and what resolution is used? Is there another dedicated GPU present?

You generally require a powerful graphics card to run contemporary titles smoothly. Which game are you aiming to play?

For CS:GO on integrated graphics, lower the resolution to 720p and reduce overall settings to mid or low. This should work without issues. The game relies heavily on CPU performance, so other modern titles may struggle. For a laptop that can handle basic games, consider a Ryzen 3500U or similar over Intel. You’ll also find many affordable gaming laptops with dedicated GPUs for under $1000. Let me know if you need more details.

Intel's processors with the "U" prefix indicate ultra-low power consumption, meaning they're built for minimal TDP and not meant for high performance. An i5 with an "H" suffix (high performance) consistently outperforms an i7 with a "U" in demanding tasks like gaming, even within the same generation. For instance, a MacBook running i7-3820QM (Quad-core, Mobile, 45W TDP) achieves comparable scores to an i7-8550U (10-25W TDP) over five generations. In gaming scenarios, your laptop would be seen as a budget choice. I suggest considering a different model with an "H" suffix and graphics capabilities like GTX or RTX, but verify your needs thoroughly. Manufacturers seldom pair "U"-suffix CPUs with dedicated GPUs in laptops unless they're detachable.
