You need to update the BIOS for your 8700K. This chip can reach up to 5GHz easily, so expect speeds around 4.7-5.0GHz across all cores—just ensure proper cooling. For the 1080, performance varies by card. Experiment with VRAM and GPU clock speeds, increasing them in small steps (like 50MHz for GPU and 100MHz for VRAM) to see what works best. Monitor the system closely; if it crashes during a game, restart and lower settings. If overheating is an issue, adjust settings accordingly.

Each GPU optimization will vary. My 1080 offers +125 cores and +250 MB of memory.
