Excellent handling of the dot skateboarder
Hello! I own an Attack Shark X3 and a Superglide v2 mousepad I received yesterday. It seems the pad didn’t include skates, but I think it would be better to get my own for the mouse. The skates are quite loud and don’t provide much grip, so I want smoother control. I’m considering Obsidian Airs as an option, but I’d appreciate your advice and any recommendations you have for good skates that work well with glass mousepads like this one. Since I play FPS games, your thoughts would be really helpful! Thanks!
A mousepad with skates might be designed for better grip or comfort, though the noise difference between glass and cloth is noticeable. Most skates tend to be quieter on glass than on fabric, but some models are built to handle both surfaces well. I haven’t used control pads yet—PlastiX Dota from TJ Exclusives is an option for extra durability on glass. Others exist, like the ones on Boardzy with video demonstrations. Personally, I’ve used stock skates from Zowie and Vaxee on both materials without any problems on glass.
I would simply reach out to the manufacturer and request that they provide it to you. They likely had it with the mouse pad.
