Typically, the most effective solution for a corrupted installation is to reinstall Windows. I believe the issue could also stem from the hard drive itself in previous experiences.

The duration isn't the same for everyone; some devices may stop working earlier. How long did you experience this issue? Do you recall the installation or activity at the time it began?
