I just acquired a 250GB NVMe SSD for additional space. My setup includes an i5-9600K processor on an ASRock Z390 gaming motherboard, paired with a Kinston 240GB SATA SSD and a 1TB hard drive. After installing the new SSD, I connected my rig and used F2 to access system settings to verify its presence. The drive appears listed. When I logged back into Windows, I checked Device Manager and found it there, but it wasn’t visible in File Explorer.

Open Disk Management in Windows, format the drive, and give it a letter for easy viewing in File Explorer.

I realized the motherboard is compatible with the 970EVo, not the 970EVo plus version.
