Hello, your components are here: two 2080 Ti KINGPIN chips, an i9 10920x, a 1TB NVMe SSD, and the EVGA X299 Dark. I'm trying to apply the dF code. Can you update the BIOS without opening it? Also, was the new motherboard chip included with the package? The shipping from the US has been slow due to quarantine.

Unfortunately, this board seems to be missing the bios flashback feature. You might consider using a chip from the 7th or 9th generation, depending on the box's specifications. A local repair shop could also provide assistance.

Consider using a 7th or 9th generation chip. Alternatively, reach out to EVGA for a BIOS chip pre-flashed onto it. The EVGA X299 Dark includes a removable BIOS chip, and the manual mentions you can contact EVGA about this option. Few boards offer this capability—such as the Z390 Dark, ASUS Crosshair IV Formula (AM3 socket), and Crosshair V Formula (socekt AM3+).
