I'm occupied tuning up my GPU and wanted to know if swapping the built-in cooling system from EVGA would be beneficial.

The stock cooler appears to be functioning well. Could you tell me what temperatures you're experiencing?

I have just placed an order for a Sapphire Radeon R9 380 with 4GB of RAM. I thought this would be a superior choice compared to overclocking the GTX750Ti SC or purchasing a more costly GTX960.

The 380 items are currently offered at excellent prices. I considered purchasing one myself. Please let me know about the sapphire card once you receive it. Were you considering Sapphire or PowerColor?

I'm using a dual GPU configuration on my newly built system and it performs excellently in ultra settings for Shadow of Mordor (achieving up to 107fps, minimum 32fps, average 63fps). I'm really happy with the Radeon R9 380 4GB cards.
