Are you suggesting the current tax covers the price of a ship, and if so, would we be able to purchase an Aurora?

Game tax needs to include everything we intend to do. However, if you're thinking about a collective donation effort, I'm sure we could arrange it—like letting donors name our command ships. Just ensure at least one HC member is aware of all donation plans. It's important to note that any donation initiatives must have proper protections in place before proceeding, so those details need to be addressed as well.

I personally believe this would work better as a real-life challenge rather than something from the game.

Despite securing the funds, the odds of landing one of the rare Javelins on Friday remain quite slim, even with the high prices. The Idris sold out almost instantly, and CIG continues to handle requests from F5-spammers during limited releases. A more effective approach might involve letting people reserve a unit and then drawing a random selection. If someone withdraws, the next person on the list would receive it.

I'll contribute. If it doesn't work, we might take Linus' non-existent Idris into a Javelin and snatch it during the PU.

I believe the value of Javelin allows you to purchase enough ships to dismantle it. Since you can't destroy stations or planets, the impact of capital ships might be limited.

They might turn into transport or heavy weapons at the front of a battle. It’d be nice if you’re nearly destroyed, so you can return and grab a replacement ship or similar.

I thought it was an interesting concept, but I hadn't realized how tough it would be to secure one because there aren't many available. It seems the larger vessels should always be ready for organizations with a certain size. So far, it appears we're falling behind other groups in terms of having bigger ships.
