I'm not ready right now, but I'll place an order for one. It should arrive on Monday, so I need to wait a bit but will reply as soon as I have the new drive. Thanks for your assistance ahead of time.

I would run a memory test to verify your storage isn't damaged. Updating your network drivers might also help. It seems your motherboard doesn’t have automatic overclocking active, and there are no WHEA warnings in the viewer.

I just did a memtest and it came up with no faults. My LAN/Wireless drivers are up to date and there's indeed no automatic overclocking enabled. As far as i can see no WHEA errors.

It seems your storage or memory might be the issue. Happy parts exchanging!

I purchased a new SSD to check if TGTAC resolves the issue; otherwise, I’ll consider adding RAM.

honestly i have a "Kingston ssd" where crystal disk says its "good" yet the speed is slower than a floppy disk most of the time - but it does work... so crystal disk isn't entirely lying i guess, taught me to listen more to my gut feeling than such programs tho. had a similar thing with memtest86 saying my ram is good... however only way to get rid of the whea errors completely was to actually shell out for b-dies. basically i believe the ram wasn't faulty, it just didn't work too well on my bios/cpu(s) ... ps: in fact i sold the ram, never got any complaints. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Occasionally that's the sole method to remove or adjust certain aspects, good luck!

I'm interested in understanding your particular setup. Your perspective is important here.

this situation doesn't seem out of place since a similar issue might have occurred here. it was a standard setup with a b350 board, 2200g, and an ssd acting as the os drive. it ran smoothly for about six months before slowing down and becoming laggy. it took me a few weeks to diagnose the problem, which turned out to be the Kingston ssd. userbenchmark confirmed it, and later Crystal Disk verified it too. the memory controllers on this model were of low quality, causing the issue for many users. i resolved it by performing a long power cycle, which restored functionality, though at a much slower speed than a floppy disk. in short, this was the first and final Kingston product i purchased.
