There are minor delays in the third model, but which one will receive the most frames across most games?

Construct 1 - i5 6500 with wind pressure 970
I really don’t get why anyone would suggest otherwise.
I’d increase the PSU a bit, since the current setup is almost optimal.

If you're looking to save money, consider the i3-6100 + GTX 970. The i5-6500 works too, but the gap is usually small in games. The key is to prioritize the GTX 970. If you can afford the i5 with the GTX 970, that's the best choice.

when starting the build, use an ssd and a reliable power supply. you can add the gpu and hard drive later when you have enough funds. wait for pascal and polairs to drop so the card level stockpiles and you don’t end up paying extra. if you have a local micro center, the i5 costs 179.00, and with a mb combo it’s 30.00 instant rebate. for your first build or any build, avoid pulling and swapping a cpu unless absolutely necessary.

The i3-6100 performs so well compared with the i5-6500 in games, I don't see reasons to get the i5 unless you're very comfortable with your budget or is getting a 980/Fury or better.

Benjiwenji :
The i3-6100 works really well compared to the i5-6500 in games, so I don't think you need the i5 unless you're very confident with your budget or are opting for a 980/Fury or better.

What about video editing or Photoshop?

Need an i5 for videos, better go for an i7 if you're handling heavy tasks

Choosing option 1 means you should get a strong unit with at least 500 PSUs and a minimum of 28 AMPs on the 12-volt line.
