Although the technical details differ significantly, especially for faster NVMe models, the impact on game performance is usually just a few seconds at most. It’s not a big upgrade unless you already own a Sata SSD or want to cut costs. Even moving to more premium PCI-E options like Optane offers less than a 5% improvement, which in most games translates to under a second of difference.
