Technically ISO certification works, but most suppliers don’t offer the needed TERA connectors, making it practically irrelevant for 99% of situations.

Every other Ethernet cable carries the TIA certification. Most Cat7 cables likely don’t meet the requirements at all. It’s confusing why everyone rushes to buy Cat 7 or 8. Some claim it’s cheaper, but that doesn’t make sense if it doesn’t meet quality standards. If you aim for long-term reliability, consider Cat 6 or even Cat 6a. I prefer spending a bit more to ensure the cable adheres to standards and quality. Cat 7 is often used by scammers to sell subpar products that might not function properly.
