Consider purchasing the game if you're a fan of Dark Souls, but take advantage of discounts. The 87% approval from 150 users suggests it's a clone, so I'd grab it if you've played Dark Souls and are looking for more. You might also find it as a bootleg version if you can't afford the official copy.

From what I've learned and seen in videos, it's a tough game akin to Dark Souls, though the exact difficulty isn't clear. The art style is impressive and the visuals are great, and the mechanics feel solid. The main complaints mentioned are occasional crashes and problems with launching the game.

I recommend purchasing Dark Souls 2. It's simpler, though the game appears to be significantly less enjoyable based on reviews.

I drifted off while playing DS2 — it was incredibly simple. I'm telling you, I didn't even sweat a bit during it... Later I realized PvP was even smoother... They'd sneak up on me, I blocked them, and they'd fall.

Purchased it, tested it, then returned it. It was really frustrating—the gameplay was so sluggish that I didn’t want to keep playing any longer.

I enjoyed Lords of the Fallen a lot. I've gone through it about 1.5 times already, and I'm likely to play it again. The refunder didn't stick around much, and they might not like this kind of game at all. They mentioned the combat seemed slow, so it probably isn't their thing. I believe the fighting has a solid feel, which I really liked right away. Instead of just pressing buttons, LotF requires precise attacks, defense, dodging, and timing, making each battle unique. Some say DS 1 is tougher, while others claim LotF is even more challenging. I'm unsure which side I'd prefer, but I found LotF quite demanding until I mastered the strategies in my first run. Once I got the tactics down, it felt easier in my second try, though I still struggled against stronger enemies. If you enjoyed DS 1, you might like Dark Souls, even though it has its own style. The mood and artwork in LotF are amazing. I think it's worth more than 10 EU. If you find it on Steam, feel free to return it if your playtime is under 2 hours and you don't like it.
