I was looking at comparing my initial PC setup with online benchmark results. Jayztwocents reported about 253 fps in Cyberpunk, while mine averaged around 239 across nine runs—my highest was 243. That’s roughly a 5-6% difference overall. Could be a few configuration tweaks or settings differences. I’m using a 6400MHz CL32 RAM, whereas most benchmarks assume 6000MHz CL30. Let me know if you want to adjust anything!

6000mhz aligns perfectly with AMD CPUs and works well with the infinity fabric. Performance might drop a bit at 6400mhz unless both are boosted to match.

Did you confirm your 7800X3D build and adjust the 4090? You received repeated advice about using 6000CL30, so consider tweaking RAM to that if needed. Were you benchmarking under identical conditions as others?

What parts are involved in your system? Beyond names and performance numbers, do you have particular models and hardware components? Are you launching the game with a fresh copy, a clean install without bloatware, and no background processes running? Have chipset and GPU drivers been updated, and is auto-tuning enabled? Do you own the exact same RTX 4090 model that JayzTwoCents uses? A 5-6% improvement might seem modest when compared to real-world results.

I had already purchased the 6400 32, so it was too late. Plus I’m still unsure whether the 9800x3d will require the 6400 or 6000, and I’d later want to upgrade to that CPU. My PBO optimizer is set to All cores -20 on the 4090, which activates the NVIDIA app optimizer where it marginally increases clock speeds. It’s the same benchmark settings as Jayz.

New Windows install with no background chipset or drivers changed. GPU auto-tuned via NVIDIA app, CPU set to all cores at -20 curve. Graphics settings match Jayz 5-6%, which feels a bit higher than expected given the default boost I applied.

Maybe the issue lies with the RAM, or perhaps he uses a "better" 4090 model—some wild OC variant—but I haven’t watched the video.

Did you configure a +200 PBO setting? Is the CPU reaching 5,050 MHz?

I adjusted the curve optimizer to -20 across all cores. Let me know if you need further clarification.

Close to the CO settings, same region. Proceed into PBO. Activate advanced mode—probably. Adjust for motherboard constraints. Change a Positive 200 setting; unclear from here, I’d need to verify in my own BIOS while working on Steel in Enshrouded atm
