I’m happy with my current setup on Windows 8.1, especially the classic start menu and display features. Windows 10 seems like a natural upgrade—likely offering smoother performance and new functionalities. It depends on what matters most to you; if speed and added features are priorities, the switch could be worthwhile. Otherwise, staying with what you like works just fine.
Currently everything is extremely unstable—volume changes wildly, Chrome keeps crashing, and media files behave oddly even with CCCP. The issues keep piling up, so I’m planning to wait a few months before trying again. I’m really considering reverting back to Windows 7.
The main reason I haven't upgraded is due to compatibility issues. I just upgraded to 8.1 and wouldn’t have done it if a retail version of 7 was available. If you don’t mind compatibility concerns, wait for Microsoft to address any major bugs before proceeding.
I'm referring to the fact that all programs are now compatible, but the drivers are still an issue.
I often overlook this task, even though it's mentioned in nearly every update... your feedback is appreciated.
its a giant pet peeve of mine but hey no problem just remember everyones expierence is different with windows 10
