Hey everyone. I tried running a stress test on my i9-9900KS while it ran at normal speeds, and it crashed right away at 100°C. I'm using a Corsair h100i pro RGB fan to keep things cool. Is this enough cooling? What could be going wrong? I thought the 9900K model tends to overheat and that Arctic MX-4 paste should help.

Your operating temperatures during typical workloads and idle states are within expected ranges. As the tests continue, you'll notice the fans increasing their speed to maintain cooling efficiency.

BitWit experienced instability in Prime95 tests, though no overheating was reported. Was the cooler replaced?

To the best of my understanding, everything is functioning properly. I don't think pump speed influences temperatures.

Operate the pump at full capacity, it's designed for maximum duty cycle over its lifespan; running it below that limit won't extend its life. Adjust your fans to boost speed when temperatures rise. There might be a poor mount or trapped air bubble, or even an air pocket inside the block/pump—while running at max speed, shift the case around to avoid bubbles in the pump or block. If the pump or block sits at the highest point of the loop, air is likely stuck there.
