Current PC details available at the provided link. The main focus is on gaming performance, especially for titles like Tarkov, Streets & Lighthouse, Starfield, and Arma 3. While a CPU upgrade is mainly aimed at gaming, it's worth considering options that could boost performance further, particularly for the listed games.

Opt for a more powerful GPU instead.

Upgrading to a GPU is probably a better choice than boosting the CPU.

That's what people often say, but I'm planning to prioritize my GPU now while keeping an eye on the future.

The 5700XT faces a minor slowdown due to the 5800X running at 1080p. Boosting the GPU would worsen performance (major CPU limits causing stutters, frame drops, and inconsistent timing). Switching to a mid-range CPU lets you upgrade the GPU if you want to stick with 1080p. The 5800X supports mid-range GPUs at 1440p without major issues unless you play demanding games. The 5800X3D handles 1080p for mid-range GPUs and high-end cards at 1440p. You can maintain the CPU, upgrade the monitor and GPU, or if needed, keep the monitor while upgrading both CPU and GPU. Alternatively, you could downgrade the GPU to models like the 6600XT, 7600XT, 6650XT, or 6700 10GB, retaining newer features, lower power use, and a new warranty.
