Hello! For intensive office tasks like managing large Word files, an i7-13700H offers better performance than the Ryzen 7 7735HS. The extra 100 euros is likely justified for that reason.

This laptop model uses a lot of power and isn't very efficient. There are many issues reported about it becoming unstable or losing performance over time. It might be better to switch to a Ryzen processor and increase the RAM instead.

In a mobile device, you don’t receive a complete CPU upgrade like on a desktop. The 13700HS consumes a lot of power, and without adequate cooling, you won’t get good value. Which laptop models are you looking at? If they’re thin, that i7 might run hot inside.

The i7 model tends to drain power much faster compared to the AMD version, especially when using the same battery size. Even laptops that use a standard cooler for the i7 still perform well.
