Using your specifications works perfectly. You can achieve smooth performance at 1080p with 60 frames per second, whereas the PS3 version drops to around 640x480 at its lowest settings, only 30 FPS.

It depends on what you mean by "graphical fidelity." If it's about visual quality, then yes—it makes a big difference.

You're curious about the effort behind it all. The PC build was slower because of the complexity involved, but it offers great value with mod support, making it worth more than $10.

It was supposed to work on the PS3, but it turned out to be quite disappointing. It appears to function for the console, but its performance is terrible. The frame rates would drop dramatically when moving quickly in urban areas, making it nearly impossible to play smoothly (especially considering the 20s). With a powerful PC, you could use it effectively...
