I’m considering whether to stick with Eufy Security using Homebase 2 or switch to a different system. I also received an upgrade code for Homebase 3, so I need to weigh the pros and cons before deciding.

According to what I've learned, Anker has finally addressed the issue after the boycott and controversy, but the response isn't favorable. I wouldn't rely on them for privacy concerns. Still, it seems preferable compared to using an Amazon ring. It depends on your priorities—if saving money matters, you might keep it, but only if you're comfortable with the privacy implications. The BS claims local storage for all data, but it doesn't quite work that way. Beyond that, nothing is fundamentally wrong—it depends on your perspective.
