Hello, Your PC's internet connection keeps switching on and off unexpectedly. Even after updating drivers, it still happens. I've now connected directly to the modem, but the issue persists. What concerns me is the network name—it shows as "Ghost_RPT5G," which seems to be the name of your repeater in the adjacent room. I assumed it might be linked to the router, but even after unplugging and turning it off, it still displays that name. I'm looking for help and hope you can assist me. Praying on LG James.

Absolutely certain it’s linked to your modem!

This discussion is quite outdated, but I've checked for updates. Could you tell me if you've made any improvements? If so, what worked well for you? I understand this might be confusing.

The network name is usually obtained from your UPNP on the router and matches the SSID you see. Secondly, did you connect it with a different Ethernet cable when using the modem? Often this issue happens because of a faulty cable or an incorrect Ethernet port.
