While using the wireless adapter, your download speed is much faster, but with the LAN cable it remains at 10mbps. It might be related to a driver problem. Your motherboard model is Asrock-320M HDV and you're relying on the built-in ethernet driver.

The cable could be broken or improperly crimped. Check the jacks to confirm the 8 pins aren't touching each other... although in very rare instances, a few pins might make contact.

Everything seems fine. It could be an issue with the driver. My brother performs well with his Asus motherboard.

Ensure you're using a Cat6 or higher network cable. Verify the destination can manage gigabit traffic. If connected to power, route the cable straight to your target device. Consider updating or reinstalling your network hardware and drivers.

Verify the link speed within the properties first.
