On my device there is the Ethernet connection symbol and clicking it displays "internet access." This issue appeared suddenly. After recently rebuilding the system, the Ethernet remained stable until last night. I was configuring port forwarding for another Minecraft server—already functional without problems—and everything halted unexpectedly. The network extender I use (Frontier) works perfectly, and any connection to it except Ethernet to my PC functions. I've restarted both router and PC multiple times, reinstalled network drivers, flushed DNS, and changed the DNS to 8.8.8.8, yet nothing resolves the problem.

//www.msftncsi.com/ncsi.txt. If not, it shows no internet connection. What happens during a web visit?

The site indicates you have internet access, yet nothing appears to load and no apps can connect.

It seems the connection was interrupted due to a DNS issue. Have you checked if other web browsers worked properly?

Nothing functions properly even on the edge. All apps cannot access the internet.

Use a traceroute tool to visualize network activity. In a Windows command prompt, run "tracert 8.8.8.8" or "traceroute 8.8.8.8". Check if it connects to your router or default gateway.

Open Control Panel, then Network and Internet, followed by Network and Sharing Center. Change adapter settings (located on the side). Right-click your adapter, select Properties, then Internet Protocol Version 4. In the pop-up, enter an IP address, and also input a DNS server. Choose an IP address that isn’t already used—like 192.168.1.20 with a default mask of 255.255.255.0. Set the gateway to your router and DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. Click Apply, and it should function properly.

It appears the system can connect to the gateway, though other requests fail to complete.
