Suddenly, the Ethernet connection vanished. I unplugged it and swapped in a different PCIe card, but nothing worked. It’s not the cable itself. The port is showing green. I’ve adjusted the speed to 1GB, toggled it on and off, reinstalled drivers manually, performed a network reset, and even reset the TCP stack—still nothing! The Wi-Fi is functioning. Please help me resolve this urgently. I’m really stressed.

You followed all my recommendations. Are you running Windows Firewall? It's possible one of the profiles is only blocking Ethernet traffic? Try disabling Windows Filtering Platform and test again. If that doesn't help, change your cables or switch to a different port on the router. Do you see any activity lights now?

Start a bootable Linux such as Ubuntu and verify Ethernet functionality. If it works, the problem likely lies with the operating system.

I save the file and see some red elements appearing. It seems related to TCP. Not sure what I'm doing here, I'm not a wireshark pro Sad

Run the command prompt and input "arp-a" to view the ARP table. Check for additional IP addresses there. Execute "ipconfig" to see your current IP, mask, and gateway. Try pinging the gateway using a command like "ping 192.168.1.254" (replace with your actual gateway). Confirm the gateway responds. Ensure your assigned IP is valid and not set to APIPA.

Do you have activity lights available? Can I connect to the gateway? Is Wireshark displaying TCP traffic on Ethernet or wireless? The advice from another operating system is helpful. You can start Ubuntu (or similar) from a USB drive without installing it directly. If it functions on another OS...reinstall. Please share a screenshot of Wireshark.
