Ethernet issue detected. Initiating restart.
I reinstalled Pop-OS to resolve a boot problem. Now my Ethernet isn’t working on the rig. I’ve checked some sources and restarted the device twice, but nothing’s been resolved. Anyone have ideas on what to try next? All other devices support Ethernet/wireless, and the connection worked before the Pop-OS install (I created a USB image via Windows 10). When I tried pinging Google.com, it reported a “temporary name resolution failure.” Your motherboard model is Gigabyte B450M DS3H with a Ryzen 3 3200G.
Run the command to list devices, filter for Ethernet, then check network details.
Connection activation error occurred. System displayed 05:00.0 Ethernet controller from Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Controller (version 0c).
The error indicates the command is missing. Check your path and ensure the correct tool is available.
