Ethernet isn't functioning properly, is there?
From the start of this month, my computer experienced problems with the Ethernet connection—Wi-Fi is functioning perfectly. Whenever I use YouTube or Gmail, streaming slows down significantly and buffering lasts a long time. My ISP replaced the router, but the issue persists. I swapped out the Ethernet cable (all Cat 6 and Cat 7) between the modem and router, yet it didn’t help. I tested both my own PC and my brother’s, who uses another Ethernet connection; his system works fine, mine still does. I replaced the motherboard and CPU (ASRock Z390M-ITX/AC + i9-9900K to MSI MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4 + i5 12600K), but the problem remains. I updated the drivers on both machines, yet I’m still stuck. It seems the issue isn’t with the Ethernet setup, and it’s not caused by my new motherboard either (hopeful). DriverEasy-PCInfo.txt
Your internet connection works well, but loading times are slow on Ethernet connections.
You’ve examined all physical aspects and now have a different PC showing the same symptoms. I’d focus on software issues like anti-virus interference. Are you using any antivirus software and have you disabled it? You might also want to try a browser extension, such as Firefox instead of Chrome.
