Purchase a switch, install it, and link its switch port to your router. Assign the router's LAN to every port. Enjoy knowing you don’t need this and must depend entirely on WiFi Wink

Confirm if it's an Ethernet connection rather than a phone line. Check for visible Ethernet cables or patch panels.

Confirm the wall plates have RJ45 connectors and Ethernet cables present. If verified, you can upgrade the connection at that punch-down block to Ethernet ports for better networking.
