Ethernet assistance! Unknown network detected, "ethernet" isn't supporting IP settings.
You're encountering an issue with your Asus B650M Pro using Wi-Fi via Ethernet. The yellow and orange lights on the port are present but not blinking, which is unusual. This could indicate a power or connection problem. Try checking the cable connections, ensuring the port is correctly seated, and verifying that the router is powered on. If the lights persist without a clear indication, it might be worth consulting the manufacturer's support or checking for firmware updates.
What device are you connecting to? The router? Which port is it? Is the connection cable in good condition?
You typically have one LED (green/orange) that's lit permanently to indicate a physical connection. Green = 100 Mbps, Orange = 1 Gbps. Then you have a yellow LED that flickers on and off to indicate activity. No valid IP configuration means you don't have an IP, netmask, default router and DNS configured. If you plug into a router, the typical expectation would be that it has a DHCP server built-in, which automatically assigns you an IP. Either that's not the case, or you plugged the cable into the wrong port (WAN instead of LAN?) If you know the IP range your router is using, you could manually configure all of these value. The network being unidentified is just the result of not getting an IP.
