I am on chrombook and my chrombook is not sensing that I am connected to ethernet. I am useing a usb c hub with a ethernet port on it. It has worked great until today when I was putting down a cable ramp. It is not my ethernet cord becaue I tried another usb to ethernet adapter I had and it worked great. My router indicated that the ehernet is connected to my chrombook and also the lights on the hub are on indicateding that is working but my chrombook will not pick up the connection even though the hub and the router indicate that it is connected. I have tried restaring the chrombook and unplugging the hub and pluging it back in but my chrombook can still not pick it up. Note there is a flashing green light on the hub

Do you know if there are additional connections on the USB C hub?

Yes, there are three USB devices available: a keyboard, a mouse, and an USB-to-SD card adapter that includes an SD card.

The Ethernet link remains functional after disconnecting the keyboard, mouse, and adapters.

Thanks for trying it and letting me know the Ethernet functioned. After connecting the three USB devices, I was able to boot using them along with the Ethernet plugged in, which resolved the issue. Appreciate the effort—it saved me from needing a new adapter or hub.
